Indian mobile service provider Airtel, and Research In Motion announced recently their intention to launch the BlackBerry 7130g device in India sometime at the end of this month.

Compatible with EDGE and GPRS networks, the new BlackBerry 7130g allows customers to use push-based email, phone, text messaging, browser, organizer and other mobile applications.

The quad-band comes with a powerful processor and 64 MB of flash memory, providing users a fast and responsive experience when browsing the Internet, viewing attachments or running other mobile applications.

The BlackBerry 7130g features dedicated phone keys, smart dialing, conference calling, speed dial, call forwarding, speakerphone and Bluetooth support for wireless headsets and car kits.

The handset's high-resolution color LCD screen features an intelligent light sensing technology that automatically adjusts both the display and keyboard lighting levels to provide an optimized view in outdoor, indoor and dark environments.

In addition, the BlackBerry 7130g incorporates RIM's innovative SureType keyboard technology, which merges a phone keypad with a familiar QWERTY keyboard to enable a narrower design while allowing users to type quickly and accurately.
