Four months after the introduction of the original Shinobi Window PC case, BitFenix has announced a special edition of this chassis that sports the same design and advanced features set, but in a new white and blue colorway.

Inside the chassis, users can accommodate a wide variety of hardware, including long graphics cards, and up to three 5.25-inch optical drives or eight 3.5-inch hard drives.

Those who want to install 2.5-inch hard drives or solid state disks will also be glad to know the Shinobi comes with a 5.25-inch drive bay adapter built especially for this purpose.

In addition, the case can be configured with up to seven 120mm fans (two can be upgraded to 140mm) and features removable filtered fan intakes as well as a large cutout on the motherboard tray, which enables users to swap the CPU cooler without having to remove the motherboard.

As it's usually the case with BitFenix chassis, the top and front covers use the company's SofTouch Surface Treatment that lends a matte finish and soft feel while resisting fingerprints and stains.

The Power and Reset buttons are placed on the top of the case and these are accompanied by four USB 2.0 ports any by two 3.5mm audio jacks to connect a headset.

"We were absolutely floored with the response we’ve gotten with Shinobi – a case that many are touting as the price/performance champ," says BitFenix Product Manager, David Jarlestedt.

"Many users were writing in asking for a white version of Shinobi for sale in North America, and I'm pleased that we can deliver it to them with Shinobi Window White," concluded the company's rep.

The Shinobi Window White will hit North American shores on July 20th, with pre-orders beginning on July 7th. Pricing is set at $69 USD, which means that it sports the same MSRP as the non-SE black Shinobi Window version.
