Lian Li, a company well renowned for its high-quality aluminum PC enclosures, has just announced the release of a new case in the mid-tower V-Series, the PC-V600F, which was designed to offer impressive amounts of space as well as hot swappable capabilities in a compact form factor.

The chassis is available in three different colorways, black, silver and red, and hardware modders can also opt for a special all-black version that is painted black both inside and out.

Air circulation throughout the case is assured by two 120mm LED fans that are placed right bellow the frontal metal mesh and are meant to suck air into the enclosure, while hot air is expelled via a 120mm top-panel fan.

As most other modern PC cases, the Lian Li PC-V600F uses an inverted design that places the power supply at the bottom and directly below the PSU mount stands a vent hole that is protected by a washable air filter.

Storage wise, the case packs two HDD cages, using thumb-screws with rubber suspension for tool-less installations, to hold up to five 3.5-inch SATA hot swappable hard drives and two 2.5-inch HDDs.

Furthermore, one of the HDD cages can be quickly removed to increase video card space to a maximum 370mm.

Additional expansion options include two 5.25-inch optical disk mounts, also with tool-less installation, as well as space for up to four PCI add-on cards.

At the front edge of the top-panel, users have easy access to the power and reset switches along with two USB 3.0 ports, one eSATA port, and HD audio ports.

Being a mini tower, the Lian Li PC-V600F is compatible with micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboard and it weights in just 5kg.

Lian Li hasn't provided us with any information regarding the price, or the release date, of the mid-tower PC-V600F case.
