With more than a week to go until AMD introduces its first Llano processors for desktop systems, Biostar has made official the TA75A+ motherboard that is powered by the A75 Fusion controller hub and features the FM1 socket.

The board uses the standard full-ATX form factor and includes a series of Biostar characteristic technologies such as BIO-Remote2 and Charger Booster as well as USB 3.0 support.

Four such ports are powered by the AMD A75 chipset (two found in the back and two on-board via a pin header) which is also used to drive the six SATA 6Gbps ports available on the motherboard.

The rest of the expansion options available on the TA75A+ include four DDR3 DIMM sockets, a pair of 32-bit legacy PCI slots, two PCI-E x1 slots as well as two PCI Express x16 slots.

These are compatible with dual-GPU AMD CrossFireX setups, but drop to an x8 mode when both are populated since the PCI Express controller found inside Llano APUs has only 16 lanes of bandwidth available.

On the rear I/O panel, Biostar has placed all the usual connectors that are associated with an FM1 motherboard, including the two USB 3.0 ports mentioned previously and 7.1-channel audio. Three video outputs are also available (DVI, VGA and HDMI).

Looking at the TA75A+, users will also recognize a series of enthusiast specific features such as on-board Power and Reset buttons and a BIOS debug display.

Biostar hasn't mentioned when the TA75A+ will become available in the retail space or what MSRP will the board feature.

Our guess is that Biostar's FM1 solution will arrive in select parts of the world a few days after the June 30 launch of desktop Llano APUs, with worldwide availability following shortly.
