Users can easily find inspiration to do more this summer

A few weeks ago, Microsoft announced the Bing Summer of Doing, a new initiative aimed at inspiring people to do more so as to get the most out of their summer.

On Tuesday, June 19th, the company also announced the launch of a new website to support the initiative, available at www.bing.com/doing.

According to Maggie Adams, marketing manager, Bing, the website is meant to provide people with inspiration when it comes to the activities they could perform this summer.

“As part of the Bing Summer of Doing, we are launching a new site today to inspire you to make the most of your summer,” Maggie Adams notes in a blog post.

“Every day we’ll showcase a new daily activity to motivate you to learn more while giving you a chance to win cool prizes. Check out the site each day at www.bing.com/doing, or follow along at #summerofdoing.”

Moreover, the website will feature a new theme each week, including including DIY-ing, eating, celebrating, giving back, wander-lusting, riding, jamming, and more.

Those who check the website every day will be able to get a glimpse at new Bing searches, while also finding additional inspiration to do something.

“For example, for DIY-ing week, you can hone your DIY skills including, yarn bombing, home brewing, vertical gardening, canning, and cheese making,” Maggie Adam explains.

“For eating week, you can nosh and nibble your way via food trucking, dim summing, locavoring, wine tasting, picnicking and more.”

To make things even more interesting, users will also get the chance to win great prizes each and every week. People could easily get culinary classes, DIY kits, or winning the chance to attend to amazing parties.
