If you've ever wondered just what a combo between a bike and a skateboard might look like, then wonder no more, since the Sbyke is here, a product that actually manages to combine these two products in a single, rather extraordinary moving contraption.

The Sbyke has been developed by Bart Wilson and brother Steve Wilson, who have quite a long history in the racing world and have already developed quite a few products targeting specifically this segment.

As you can see for yourselves from the photos, the Sbyke sports the front side of a bike, complete with horns and front wheel, while the rear side is a skateboard, the whole assembly providing a higher level of stability for the riders (who, by the way, should be at least eight years old and now weigh more than 250 pounds).

In order to keep itself light, the Sbyke sports an 6106 T6 aircraft aluminum frame, complete with a Super Light Billet 6061 T-6 head, while in the same time being able to accommodate both tall and small riders, due to the fact that it packs interchangeable 4130 CroMoPro & LoPro stem lengths.

This rather unusual moving contraption also sports a 20-inch alloy rim, but also some pretty impressive tires, whether we're talking about the front one (racing tire, 100 psi pressure supported) or the rear ones (85mm x 80 A Durometer truck wheels with radial tread).

And since braking while riding this thing is also clearly a necessary feature, the designers also threw a caliper hand brake in the mix.

Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing just yet, but we suspect that, if properly priced and marketed, the Sbyke might actually prove to be hugely successful in many parts of the world, especially among teenagers and people loving everything new and a bit extreme.

P.S. Here's a quick video of the Sbyke in action.
