14 DAY TRIAL // Lady Gaga is not only the hottest pop artist of the moment as a solo singer, but she’s also branching out, constantly adding to her resume of collaborations. Just recently, she worked on a new track for legendary crooner Michael Bolton, and now she’s teaming up with none other than Sasha Fierce herself, Beyonce, for a new video, Life&Style has learned.
It’s not known yet in what capacity Gaga will be featured on Beyonce’s video, but speculation has it that she might also have a hand in directing it. Of course, since the collaboration itself is pending confirmation, assuming that Gaga will do more than just put in an appearance is wishful-thinking at this point in time. However, sources on the set claim fans will positively love the video.
“Two of music’s biggest divas, Beyonce and Lady Gaga, are joining forces for Beyonce's upcoming single, ‘Video Phone.’ ‘On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyonce were working on the video together at a studio in NYC,’ an insider reveals exclusively to Life&Style. ‘Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight.’” the aforementioned magazine writes, refusing to reveal the identity of the insider.
“Both Beyonce, 28, and Lady Gaga, 23, are known for their showmanship and elaborate costumes, and this joint venture shouldn’t disappoint. ‘In the video,’ says the insider, ‘Beyonce wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild. The fashion is sick and insane.’” Life&Style further adds. If the report is indeed accurate, then perhaps fans should also expect a lot of dancing and some shocking images as well, besides the insane fashion.
In other Gaga-news, the singer is scheduled for a unique performance on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Museum of Contemporary Art, on November 14, as we also informed you the other day. The one-time gig will be a true artistic experience, as it will also feature the Bolshoi Ballet under the guidance of artist Francesco Vezzoli.
