Fallout 3 is a highly anticipated title promising quite a lot of things for all the fans of the post apocalyptic RPG (Role Playing Game) genre. Although the move of the franchise from Interplay to Bethesda made quite a few people worry that the new company might not give the game the same Fallout feeling, with the great environment and amusing tongue-in-cheek humor regarding the character and dialog design, Bethesda did a very good job with the title.

The game was eagerly awaited by fans, fact which resulted in the very good sales the title registered and gained critical acclaim for all its innovations and features. The V.A.T.S. system which helped you in combat, the elaborate inventory and top notch graphics delivered players a true post apocalyptic experience.

Sadly, like quite a few other games, Bethesda’s release was not a glitch or fault free one, as a lot of gamers reported some very annoying issues. From the likes of minor freezes, which resulted in damage to the player's health, to full-on glitches which caused the whole game to crash, the problems were quite diversified, as users flooded its official forum asking for help or demanding a patch to be launched by the company.

Recently, a Bethesda community manager announced that a patch for the game is under development but can't really offer any detail. “We are currently working on a patch for all three platforms. When I've got more details, I'll let everyone know,” read the statement posted on the company's website.

Although it is good to hear that Bethesda is working on a patch, a lot of players might not be patient enough, so it would be a good idea if the studio elaborated some short term solutions.

Let's just hope these glitches will be fixed by the patch and that every customer who has bought the game, on the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3 or the PC, will enjoy a problem free experience.
