Before the end of February, Verizon Wireless is expected to add at least two new highly appealing Android devices to its offering, including the HTC ThunderBolt and the Motorola XOOM, some of the latest reports around the Internet suggest.

Apparently, the HTC ThunderBolt smartphone might be released at the carrier as soon as February 14th is here, while the Motorola XOOM is expected to make an appearance on the carrier's airwaves on the 24th of the month.

Best Buy - Grand Rapids South was the one to let these release dates slip on the web, via its Facebook account, so things might have been already carved in stone, even if Verizon did not confirm them unit now.

Moreover, it seems that things might actually be sweeter than this, and that the HTC ThunderBolt would be made available for pre-order as soon as February 6th, when Super Bowl kicks off.

Rumor has it that Best Buy would start taking pre-orders for the handset that very day, and those interested in reserving a unit would have to come up with $50 for that (the $50will count towards the future Thunderbolt purchase).

Nothing was confirmed officially on this either, and there are great chances that it would all prove false in the end, but enthusiasts would certainly keep their fingers crossed for this to pan out.

After all, the HTC ThunderBolt would be the first LTE-capable Android smartphone that Verizon is set to bring to shelves, while the Motorola XOOM would be the first tablet PC it is poised to bring to the market with the capability on board.

The HTC ThunderBolt comes with a fast 1GHz Snapdragon processor on board, a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, wireless DLNA, and Mobile Hotspot, a 32GB microSD memory card included, front-facing camera, and more.

The Motorola XOOM sports a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display, along with dual cameras, Wi-Fi, 3G/4G LTE connectivity, the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform on board, and 32GB of onboard storage.
