We're pretty sure that most of you out there are quite familiar with Danish company Bang & Olufsen, whose products are famous for providing not only pristine-quality audio and great looks, but also somewhat of a “seizure” when one checks out their price points, and it looks that they've decide that it's about time to start seriously targeting the increasingly larger mass of iPad/iPhone users with their brand-new BeoSound 8 speaker system. First and foremost, we'll have to admit that the BeoSound 8 is an extremely attractive speaker system, being available in black and white, but also allowing users to choose from a variety of optional soft coloured speaker fronts. Plus, the cone shaped speakers give BeoSound 8 somewhat of a hovering 2D appearance, as it hides the actual depth of the speakers and the feet lift it up giving a light and slim design, further enhanced by the aluminium rings that grant it a distinct Bang & Olufsen look and feel. Using the BeoSound shouldn't be much of a problem for anyone, since one simply have to plug BeoSound 8 in and connect their device by docking it or connecting it using the AUX line-in or USB ports. Furthermore, one can easily control BeoSound 8 using the dedicated remote that comes with the product or with one of Bang & Olufsen's intelligent remotes. Another cool application of BeoSound 8 is that it can be networked using the Apple Airport Express and in this way your music collection can conveniently be streamed wirelessly from the PC or Mac to BeoSound 8. BeoSound 8 will be available in Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide within the coming month, but pricing for the device has not been revealed yet, probably in order to keep the hype going on around it and keep the users hoping that they might actually be able to afford it (which most of them won't).
