14 DAY TRIAL // Officials at the Tenergy Corporation, based in the Californian Bay Area, have recognized a battery used in the Boston Marathon bombs as one of theirs.
The discovery comes after photos of remaining explosive fragments from the blast have been released.
“We were appalled to discover that one of our off-the-shelf products was used in such a horrific and senseless act of hate.
“We have contacted both the FBI and the Boston Police and will assist in any way possible to help identify the responsible parties,” company reps said in a statement relayed by Inquisitr.
They mention that the Sub C-3000 battery is manufactured in China and can be found in remote controlled-cars.
Meanwhile, sources say that the FBI has come across snaps of a “dark-skinned” man leaving a black duffel bag similar to one found at the site near the finish line.
