One of the major villains that will appear in the upcoming Batman: Arkham City game featuring the Caped Crusader, Harvey 'Two-Face' Dent, the former district attorney of Gotham City, now a horrifyingly scarred criminal boss, has just been profiled by the developer behind the title, Rocksteady.

Batman: Arkham City is set to improve upon many of the already impressive features seen in its predecessor, Batman: Arkham Asylum, with the Dark Knight now facing off against a whole city filled with criminals and many of his Arch villains.

We've already seen the profiles of quite a few characters that will be in the game, from allies of Batman, like Catwoman or Robin, to villains, like The Riddler or Dr. Hugo Strange.

Now, a new enemy has been detailed by Arkham City developer Rocksteady Studios, in the form of Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face.

Check out his official background story below, as highlighted by the UK-based developer.

"District Attorney Harvey Dent was one of Batman’s strongest allies in Gotham City, until a criminal threw acid in Dent’s face, hideously scarring him. The wounds fractured his psyche, and he was reborn Two-Face, a schizoid criminal mastermind obsessed with duality.

"His former good-luck charm, a “two-headed” trick silver dollar, was damaged on one side in the attack, and Dent has seized on it as a reflection of his half-scarred visage. He flips it to decide the fates of his victims. Two-Face is thriving in Arkham City, rallying inmates to join his gang using tried and true campaign tactics."

Two-Face amps up his duality by wearing different sorts of clothing, wields two automatic revolvers and, when faced with choices of life or death, always calls upon his half-scarred coin.

So far, Rocksteady Studios has treated many of the characters in the Batman comics with the utmost respect, so it's going to be interesting to see just how the developer will portray Harvey Dent.
