Asus' ET2400XVT is one of the most powerful and expensive all-in-one computers available on the market today, so the Taiwanese company decided to make this a much better deal for all those users that are interested in buying such an elegant and compact PC by bundling it together with CyberLink's PowerDVD software.

PowerDVD is an universal media player that supports a wide number of video formats including Blu-ray 3D optical discs and DVDs, the software also featuring real-time 2D-to-3D video conversion, high definition audio support and SD video upscaling.

Asus is dedicated to creating ultimate home entertainment experiences through Asus All-in-One PC ET2400XVT,” said Joe Hsieh, general manager of ASUS Desktop Business.

“With the addition of CyberLink PowerDVD, we are able to provide users with a complete and seamless 3D experience,” concluded the company's rep.

The ET2400XVT all-in-one ships with a quad-core Intel Core i7-740QM processor that is clocked at 1.73Ghz, 8GB DDR3 RAM and is fitted with a Nvidia GTX 460M graphics cards paired together with 1.5GB of video buffer memory.

Thanks to its multitouch 120Hz screen, the device is capable of rendering 3D images at 1080p resolutions and is fully 3D Vision certified.

The rest of the specs list includes a 1TB 7200RPM hard drive, a Blu-ray optical drive, 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity as well as two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports.

Apart form the CyberLink PowerDVD software, the machine is bundled with a wireless keyboard and mouse and runs a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium.

The system is available for purchase from Amazon as well as other retailers, its price being set at $1,799 US.

Unfortunately, we don't know if users that have already bought the ET2400XVT will get the PowerDVD software free of charge or if all the units that are available in retail right now come bundled with CyberLink's player.
