14 DAY TRIAL // Just recently, Acer has unveiled its latest-generation Aspire One netbook, coming to provide users with a design similar to that of the 8.9-inch model, but in the form of a larger, 10-inch system. Unfortunately, when the netbook was launched late last month, it wasn't made available for the company's customers in the U.S.market, however, the PC vendor has just announced that the new Aspire One 10-inch netbook is now available there too. The new Aspire One AOD150 builds on Acer's highly successful 8.9-inch predecessor, which has enabled the company to claim the number one spot in the fast growing market of netbook computer systems.

Netbooks are an ideal solution for those who want a balance of mobility and productivity for quick and easy access to the Internet and other computing needs.”
The Aspire One AOD150 is powered by an N270 Atom processor, running at the all-familiar 1.6GHz clock speed. It boasts a 10.1-inch WSVGA TFT LCD with support for a 1024 by 600 pixel resolution. The system is equipped with 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM memory, a 160GB SATA 5400RPM hard drive, 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports, two built-in stereo speakers, multi-in-1 media card reader and a 6-cell Li-Ion battery. The netbook weighs just 2.95 lbs. and comes with a Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
Price wise, the new 10-inch Aspire One AOD150 netbook from Acer is available via the company’s authorized resellers and at major retailers nationwide, with prices beginning at $349.99.
