14 DAY TRIAL // The CFDA Awards 2011 marked the first time reports started saying that actor Gerard Butler was no longer an item with Jessica Biel, since he reportedly turned on the charm for Lady Gaga and Twilight star Ashley Greene. He spent the night with the latter shortly afterwards.
Regardless of what he says, the tabloids will always paint Butler as a womanizer and a real charmer who doesn’t even need to try that hard to get the ladies.
Us Weekly sticks with the story in its latest print issue, saying all it took him to get Ashley Greene to go home with him was a couple of drinks, a pat on the backside and a few smiles (story via here).
After the CFDA Awards, were they first connected, the two met again at an exclusive party – and both knew from the start they would end up spending the night together, says the report.
“When Ashley Greene arrived at NYC’s Boom Boom Room in the wee hours of June 7, she made a beeline for Gerard Butler – and spent two hours under his spell,” the magazine writes.
Eyewitnesses confirm that “under his spell” is the correct wording, since the two flirted heavily and it was clear that Ashley was totally smitten with the handsome star.
“He had his hand on her shoulder and leaned into her. He really turned on the charm,” says an unnamed spy at the party.
In almost no time, Gerard made his intentions clear, the tipster reveals.
“Indeed, Butler ordered a drink for Greene and made her laugh with his sing-along to Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’.’ He even put his hand on her [backside]!” Us writes.
When Gerard decided it was time to go home, he did so accompanied by the young actress, now starring in “The Twilight Saga.”
“And the night didn’t end there. Just before leaving at 3 am, he motioned Greene over with a finger curl; she grabbed her coat and joined him!” Us writes.
