“Twilight” star Ashley Greene has been dating teen heartthrob Joe Jonas since last summer but, until the March 2011 issue of Teen Vogue, she’s rarely spoken about the romance that must have sent millions of Jonas fans crying to their rooms.

Speaking of which, the actress tells the magazine that there will always be haters, including fans of Joe that will want their relationship to fail for the simple reason that he’s a heartthrob and, as such, he must be single.

She’s not paying attention to that, she says. Joe is a lovable and very funny guy, so she focuses on the (little) time she gets to spend with him and not on the negativity their relationship can sometimes generate.

“There’s always going to be anti in this industry. But the thing is, I have dealt with anti before our relationship, and I will always have to deal with it. There will always be people who love me or hate me. That’s why I try to focus on the positive,” Ashley says with a smile.

Because of the working schedules, her relationship to Joe is somewhat hectic and she surely must have moments when she wishes they could spend more time together.

“We have a traveling relationship. We met through mutual friends in London, which is crazy because we both live in LA and we’ve already met each other’s parents, which I think is a good result of the kind of lifestyle we live. He’s sweet and really funny, which is huge for me,” she says.

Nevertheless, whenever they get together and they don’t go out, they like to retire into the kitchen and just unwind by cooking – with Joe as the one who’s more initiated.

“I’ve got this amazing kitchen, and he’s getting me into it. It’s really nice and almost therapeutic; we put on music and just kind of go into this zone,” she explains.

Ashley has just wrapped up shooting for “LOL” with Miley Cyrus, whom she already counts as a good friend.

Right now, she’s shooting for “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” the fourth installment in “The Twilight Saga.”
