Another PC exclusive goes towards the Xbox

Looks like PC gamers won't be alone in their Age of Conan Hyborian adventure, as Microsoft has given the green light for this MMO to be developed in Xbox 360s.

First of all, I don't like seeing another invasion from console gamers onto PC related stuff. I though that MMOs were meant only for PCs, but looks like I'm wrong. Sure, we have other consoles MMO, Test Drive Unlimited to name one, but I simply think that MMOs are PC material. Who knows, maybe in a short while, we will see World of Warcraft of Lineage in Xbox 360s.

Funcom is very excited to be developing an Xbox 360 version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventure, and they consider this to be a great leap forward. They realize that the Xbox 360 market is one still largely untouched by MMOs and that it has potential.

The Windows version of Age of Conan; Hyborian Adventures is a Showcase title for Windows Vista, and even though the game is still due for May 2007, it managed to win the "Best MMO of E3" award. Is it that great? Can it be real competition for the other MMOs? It has a solid chance as it was the runner up for "Most Innovative Game of Show" E3 award and PC Gamer magazine named it one of their top 10 most anticipated PC games. Will it be on the 10 most anticipated Xbox 360 games?

As it is in development for some three years now, I guess that some RPG fans are more than eager to try it out. The game is based on Conan the Cimmerian stories written by Robert E. Howard in the early 1930s.
