14 DAY TRIAL // The name of Billy Bob Thornton will forever be linked to that of Angelina Jolie's considering how, at one point, they formed one of the wildest, boldest and good-looking couples in showbiz. She still has a soft spot for him after all this years, it has emerged.
Life & Style magazine got a hold of the foreword Jolie wrote for Billy Bob's book, “The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts,” and it's one of the most beautiful things ever.
Both actors have always maintained they remained good friends even after the divorce, but many still refused to believe that.
It would seem that's really the case, at least judging by what Angelina has to say about her ex-husband of whom she writes that he “has a big beautiful heart.”
She also recalls how terribly funny and witty Billy Bob used to be around her.
“He has an unmatchable wit and can make you laugh until your face hurts. To be with him is like being with a mad mathematician. He is constantly counting and repeating,” Angelina says.
“Some people walk through life able to quiet the voices in their heads. He can’t. And I, and everyone else who knows him well, we love him for it,” she writes.
With all his flaws, thanks to his amazing qualities, Billy Bob makes the world a better, livelier place.
“I know one thing: The world would certainly be a hell of a lot more dull if that man weren’t in it,” Jolie says.
Considering how, back in February this year, during the Berlin Film Festival, there was a lot of talk about Angelina and Billy Bob meeting and “hooking up” again, one can only imagine how the tabloids are going to spin this beautiful letter into something else.
Back then, just because they happened to be in the same city at the same time, rumors began making the rounds that Brad Pitt, Angelina's fiancé, had learned of the encounter of the two and literally stormed out of a restaurant “crying.”
