Brad Pitt has recently said that Angelina Jolie still has a wild side, but that she simply prefers to keep it for his eyes only. If ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton has his way, fans will soon be privy to it as well.

Granted, it will be a in fictionalized form but it will be worth to watch nonetheless.

Thornton is now working on a new project, a film called “And Then We Drove,” which was heavily inspired from his relationship to the Hollywood superstar.

He is now writing the script and will also direct the film, but the extent to which it will mirror his real-life romance with Angelina is not yet known.

A first draft of the script is expected this March, with the film tentatively scheduled to start shooting in early 2013, Variety informs.

"I found the story amazing. It's a pretty new combination of genres to put into one movie. It's based on his personal experiences in many ways,” producer Alexander Rodnyansky's of AR Film says for the movie-oriented publication.

Thornton himself, now at the Berlin Film Festival, will not say more about the film than that it's about “a guy who's on a road trip and picks up this girl along the way, and what happens to them. It's about the question of life: 'What is this? Where do I fit in?'”

Inside sources claiming to be familiar with the plot tell Variety that said “personal experiences” that inspired Thornton to write “Drove” refer mostly to his intensely mediated marriage to Angelina Jolie.

Considering their eccentric displays of affection, the rumors that constantly plagued their relationship and reports like how they used to wear vials of each other's blood around their necks, we're to expect quite a passionate film.

“The story takes place all across the U.S., with stops in Los Angeles, the South and the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona,” Variety says.

More details on “And Then We Drove” are not available at this time, but rest assured you'll find about them here, when the time is right.
