Without a doubt, China is pretty much the Internet tablet heaven right now, with plenty of new and exciting products making their way onto the market almost on a daily basis, the wide majority of which, with a few minor exceptions, run the Android open-source operating system, that also being the case with the particular device you'll read about as follows, namely the GS30.

Spotted by the guys over at GizInChina, this tablet will certainly take on Apple's iPad, at least in terms of display size, given the fact that it comes equipped with a 9.7-inch touchscreen display from LG, capable of providing a 1024 x 768 pixels resolution and featuring IPS technology.

Moreover, this thing has quite an attractive exterior, sporting a brushed aluminium body, that will certainly draw some attention, on which we can spot a power switch, hard reset button, volume buttons a home key and a screen orientation lock switch.

Beside the rather cool-looking exterior, the GS30 tablet also sports quite a serious hardware configuration, since it's been built around a Samsung PC110 1Ghz CPU, accompanied by 512MB of RAM memory and a choice of 4, 8 or 16GB flash modules for storage purposes.

Moreover, the device will offer a 3G option, two cameras (front and back), supporting both video capture and still shooting, a Bluetooth module, as well as plenty of connectivity options, including a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, built in microphone, micro SD card reader, mini USB, 2 x USB 2.0 ports and even a HDMI output, the whole thing being powered by a huge 6800mAh battery that should last for around 9 hours.

And what's also quite impressive is the fact that all of the aforementioned components have been crammed up within a fairly thin form factor, the tablet measuring just around 245 x 192 x12 mm and weighing around 800 grams.

No pricing details have been announced yet but they'll most likely be provided once this thing goes on sale, at some point in March 2011.
