The divorce proceedings are still underway and the question of whether former jailbird Blake Fielder-Civil will get a share of Amy Winehouse’s £10-million fortune is pending, but all signs are pointing to an imminent reconciliation. Blake, who has taken most of the blame for the way Winehouse’s drug addiction spiraled out of the control, is telling News of the World that they are talking getting back together after the singer called him at the drug rehabilitation facility where he’s now trying to kick his addiction.

Amy still loves Blake, and he’s still just as mad in love with her as he was when they first met, the legally troubled Fielder-Civil tells the British tab. After five months of not speaking with him at all, except via her attorneys during the divorce proceedings, the “Back to Black” star eventually picked up the phone one night and called him to tell him that she still had feelings for him and wanted to give their relationship another go. Clearly, as unexpected as this was, it came to show Blake that dreams did come true.

“We’ve been talking for the first time in months. I love her as much as ever. I know she still loves me, even though we’re getting divorced. Maybe this time we can do everything properly and not mess it up. She is looking beautiful and healthy now and it reminds me of the old Amy. She has been wearing my engagement ring and it meant an awful lot.” Blake tells News of the World, revealing that they even set up a secret dinner date for when he leaves rehab.

Nevertheless, the condition to them being together again is that they both stay clean of drugs and alcohol, as the slope is slippery and they could end up making the same mistakes they did the first time around as well, one of Blake’s friends says for the tab. This is why, when Fielder-Civil leaves rehab, he has no plans to return to London, but would rather settle some place else instead, buy a flat, get a job and live quietly there with Amy. As a matter of fact, he hopes this is where things are headed right now.

“I did something wrong and went to prison. I got clean. Amy flew off somewhere hot, got clean. It was meant to be that way. We were pushing things to the extreme with our drug-taking and it could never have carried on that way. I want to take her out for dinner and propose again. I hope that within five minutes we’ll be planning where we’re next going to get married. It’s not up to Amy’s family or anyone else. We’re both adults and we’re both clean now. It’s up to us.” Blake further explains about his decision to ask for Amy’s hand in marriage again.

Speaking of which, ironically enough, Blake Fielder-Civil wants the divorce proceedings to go on as scheduled, have the divorce finalized and only afterwards marry Amy Winehouse again. He says it’s because it would give the singer a “clean slate,” her friends say it’s because that’s the easiest way to get Amy’s money and make a run for it.
