The Board of Directors of AmazingMail.com Inc. has announced that Robert Blackman has been appointed CEO, succeeding Chris Lynde. According to the official report announcing Blackman’s new role within the company, last month, AmazingMail was ranked in the Inc. 5,000 list of the nation's fastest growing companies based on three-year sales growth of 22.4%.

AmazingMail reveals that Blackman, originating from Melbourne, Australia, has held leadership roles in every major area of the company since he co-founded it in 1999, serving first as Director of Administration. He became Vice President of Operations and Administration just two years later, in order to handle the company's printing, finishing and mail facilities. The company's direct-sales department was also established by Blackman.

"Our goal is to be the direct mail industry's most competitive supplier of on-demand post-card and digital marketing campaign fulfillment," Blackman says. "I've had a decade to prepare for my new job, and I relish the opportunity to inspire AmazngMail's team to new levels of sales growth, quality and efficiency as we move forward."

AmazingMail describes its business saying it drives postcard-based direct marketing campaigns for more than 2,500 clients, including Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit businesses and the small-to-medium business segment. Two iPhone applications using AmazingMail's Web-to-print capabilities can already be found in the App Store, one of which is the AnguriaLab-developed Postino.

Softpedia reported a while ago that the application in question allowed iPhone users to send physical postcards worldwide from iPhone photos using AmazingMail’s printing service. The app was said to be available for free download via the App Store for a limited period of time, yet Postino is still a free download!

AmazingMail also strongly encourages developers that may want to integrate the service to check out the company's Web-to-print capabilities, noting key features like the ability to print and mail the next business day, super high-quality card printing, and the ability to automatically standardize recipient addresses for a maximum deliverability, just to mention a few.
