14 DAY TRIAL // AmazingMail has announced a web-to-print service for smartphone developers, including those coding for Apple’s iPhone. Basically, the service allows devs to create apps that integrate with and take advantage of on-demand digital printing. Two such apps are already available from the App Store, one of which is completely free to download and use (for a limited time).

As mentioned above, two applications using AmazingMail's Web-to-print capabilities can already be found in the App Store. One is PicCard, the other is Postino. Developed by Italy's AnguriaLab LLC, Postino allows iPhone users to send physical postcards worldwide from iPhone photos using AmazingMail’s printing service. The app is currently available for free download via Apple’s iTunes App Store, but it won’t stay that way for long, so hurry up and grab it!
Softpedia has tested Postino’s capabilities successfully, including the ability to quickly attach photos from the phone’s library, as well as adding a custom signature, which users can draw on-screen prior to sending the personalized card, complete with stamp. The card can either be sent electronically, or printed out into an actual card. Postino also offers the ability to buy stamps from within the app, and to save them for future use. Setting up Postino couldn’t be easier, while using it to send personalized cards is truly intuitive. Clearly, the app makes a great addition for those using their iPhone to send and receive emails.
