14 DAY TRIAL // Amanda Bynes has been making a lot of headlines in recent months but, she says on Twitter, she’s just fine. She plans on suing all those tabloid and celebrities blogs claiming she’s “mentally ill,” because the only thing she suffers from is an eating disorder.
In a fresh series of apparently rambling tweets, Bynes writes that she’s sick and tired of tabloids making up stories about her or running unflattering pics.
So, to set the record straight, she addresses rumors that she’s mentally ill. She also pleads with the media to use only photos from her Twitter feed for whatever story they might run.
“I'm suing certain blogs and magazines saying I have a mental illness! They take pictures anytime I've gained weight then write a fake story!” Amanda says.
This tweet is believed to be in response to various reports accompanying photos of her looking disheveled and confused out and about in New York.
Bynes insists that the stories might feign concern, but they are actually meant to point out whether she’s heavier or not.
“I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin,” she says.
She continues, “Only use photos from my twitter when writing an article about me.”
“I don't read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They're fake! Don't trust what u read on sites!” she tells her fans and followers.
“I'm putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on. I ask you to choose photos from my twitter so I'll do the same,” the star adds.
Far from making the rumors go away, these tweets only came to pour gas on a fire that was already burning bright.
Sources close to Bynes’ family (or so they claim) tell InTouch that they’re worried sick about her, calling her current situation “tragic.”
Fans are equally concerned.
