14 DAY TRIAL // Today, Amanda Bynes turns 27. She is of the same age as Lindsay Lohan, so the question arises: do they have more in common than this? Online reports would seem to point to “yes.”
For the past several months, Bynes has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons: retiring and un-retiring from acting, only to retire again, DUIs, reports of erratic behavior, drug and alcohol abuse, Twitter rants, drastic makeovers and the likes.
Her fans are still beside her because… well, that’s what true fans do, they support their idol through both the good and the bad.
The video above should remind us all how mature, composed and down to earth Amanda was in 2007, when she spoke of “having [her] eye on the prize, which is a long career,” having a healthy support system around her and not being on the same path of destruction as other Hollywood starlets.
“Birds of a feather flock together, and I definitely don’t fly with THAT crowd,” she said.
Something probably changed along the way, and it’s a shame it did.
