The "dream phone" that everyone jumped to buy just couldn't be all that perfect and many people struggled to find its flaws in security, applications and even performances. Finding almost 70 bugs on iPhone's application hasn't been an easy job for AppleHound, but this high number of problems brings out the fact that the device has its weaknesses.

Among the large number of bugs that have been found on iPhone's software, there are some in the phone's Calendar, Photos, YouTube, Stocks, Maps, Weather, Clock, Calculator, Settings, Phone, Mail, Safari and iPod too. That includes just about most of the functions that Apple's phone is capable of handling, although few can be considered critical for the normal use of the iPhone.

Among the bugs found for the handset's applications, there are also some which might confuse the user, although consequences will be seen only at a low level. For example, the calendar might crash at some times, delete an entry at the wrong date, or load an undesired one.

Other bugs regard Photo browsing and album viewing, as well as bookmarks from using YouTube. A more serious situation has been generated by the Google Maps, which may crash when traffic information is enabled as well as during zooming and scrolling actions. Moreover, the Phone application can become unresponsive if a sync is started while editing a contact photo. The iPod too has some problems, as it will crash after syncing begins. Aside from these bugs, most of the remaining ones classify for being a minor threat to the iPhone using experience.

AppleHound has submitted these bugs to Apple in order to make sure that they will be eliminated. Moreover, they encourage people to add to their list any new information on the flaws that iPhone's software comes with. Their list of reported bugs has been made after testing the problems on two devices just to make sure that it was not an isolated case.
