When it rains, it pours, and when it comes to leaked info on HTC's upcoming mobile phones, there's always room for one more, as it happens today with the HTC Desire HD. A new photo with this handset has just made it into the wild, offering us a closer look at what the long rumored device would be like when released on the market.

What the HTC Desire HD is all about should not be a mystery to anyone, that's for sure, especially since we've seen it into the wild before.

The new mobile phone is expected to land on the market as the international version of the highly popular HTC EVO 4G, the first Android-based mobile phone to boast 4G connectivity options (on a WiMAX network).

We've seen the phone hitting the headlines quite a few times before, along with another handset from HTC to run under Google's Android operating system, namely the Desire Z.

However, even if rumors on this handset did make it into the wild, along with what appeared to be confirmation of its upcoming landing, we did not have the chance to take a close look at the device.

The new photo with HTC Desire HD comes from German site BestBoyZ, and reportedly shows us the real deal, at least this is what the guys over at Engadget say.

It seems that the device has been already listed beside other devices from HTC, which means that it should make a live appearnace on the market in the near future.

However, it is rather interesting that the phone has a Windows Mobile 6.5 Sense UI thrown over it, which makes no sense, that's for sure, since it is an Android handset.

Even so, the hardware behind this software is said to be the HTC Desire HD that the Taiwanese mobile phone maker would plan on delivering to the market outside the United States.

Most probably, the phone would hit the shelves stripped of the 4G connectivity options it packs in the US at Sprint, for there are not too many WiMAX networks it can connect to.

However, an official confirmation on its existence and on its arrival did not emerge for the time being, so stay tuned for more. Hopefully, that September 15 event HTC is preparing would bring the Desire HD to light.
