According to the latest news around the Internet, wireless carrier T-Mobile USA is on its way to launch on the market at least two new handsets from HTC, one of which should be the already-made-official T-Mobile G2.

A HTC device that sports model code PC10100 received FCC approval with support for AWS 3G bands, which means that this might turn into a T-Mobile-bound phone in the near future.

Moreover, the upcoming mobile phone is said to come with 802.11n Wi-Fi capabilities, as well as with support for HSPA+ connectivity, which would point towards it being the T-Mobile G2 handset the carrier is set to launch soon.

Rumor has it that, in addition to this device, which was touted via a teaser site the company put in place not too long ago, T-Mobile might soon announce another handset available for its users, the multi-core Glacier.

This means that T-Mobile is readying at least two new “firsts” for its users, as G2 would be the first Android smartphone with HSPA+ connectivity, while Glacier, be this its market name, should land as the first dual-core handset.

However, there are not too many solid details available on the latter device, except for some rumors based on the fact that Qualcomm already announced the near availability of its first multi-core processors for mobile phones.

Even so, the latest spotted FCC filing might actually unveil some more on the matter, as a recent article on Engadget reads.

Although the FCC does not note specifically which device received approval for use in the United States, chances are that this not be the G2 (previously spotted as the Vision), but another device, most probably the Glacier.

For what its worth, this supposition does not have a solid base for the time being, but, with a wide range of rumors regarding the device floating around, we wouldn't be surprised if this goes official in the near future.
