Espoo, Finland-based handset vendor Nokia seems to be preparing some surprises for users when it comes to the near future. Among the things the company is hard at work on, it seems that there might be a mobile phone that boasts a 12-megapixel photo snapper and that should come as the Nokia N87 12MP, at least this is what an alleged leaked document from the company shows.

The said doc, which surfaced in a video on YouTube, shows that the mobile-phone maker is secretly working on the development of a 12.1-megapixel cameraphone. Some of the details that involve this behemoth should be already known by most of you, including the fact that it will sport Carl Zeiss optics. At the same time, it seems that one should also expect it to come to the market with dual LED flash and with Xenon flash.

According to the leaked document, the upcoming handset should also hit the shelves with a 3.2-inch capacitive screen that will boast a 480 x 800-pixel resolution, while also packing inside a 600MHz processor. Additional details also suggest that one might expect it to come with around 16GB of internal storage space.

For the time being, these are the only available details on the Nokia N87 12MP. However, in case the device proves to be real in the end, more than enough pieces of information have been unveiled, that's for sure. Some of the other specs of the device might be guessed, such as the Symbian operating system it might be packed with (though Maemo would also be an option) or the possibility that it would feature a memory card slot for additional storage space to be included into the equation.

Take a look at the video below to see what the said document is all about. More details on the handset are expected to emerge in the near future, so stay tuned to learn them as soon as they become available.
