14 DAY TRIAL // Rebellion is maintaining its steady flow of information concerning its upcoming Aliens vs Predator. After releasing the original Aliens versus Predator Classic 2000 on Steam on Monday, and the gory, deliciously violent Kill Moves trailer yesterday, Sega, AvP's publisher, revealed today the special pre-order-exclusive packs. Similar to a Collector's Edition, but varied, and unique to their specific retailer, these packs offer a special release of the game for its more enthusiastic fans.
The first special pack of the title is the Hunter Edition, made up of a replica facehugger model, a code for four multiplayer maps, the docks, outpost, machine and hive, the Weyland-Yutani material patch, a 3D lenticular postcard, as well as the game disk in a steelbook cover. As the most elaborate of the special collections, the HMV-exclusive release is priced at £59.99, the most expensive of them all.
The second one is the Survivor Edition from Game, and it's priced at £54.99. This one is made up of a steelebook cover for the disk and the same four multiplayer maps. A bit pricy considering what HMV offers at a similar price, but at least this way we have more options on the table.
The last one is the Play-exclusive Edition, the cheapest one, at £39.99, and it will feature three unique multiplayer skins for you to chase down your prey in, or be chased down in.

Aliens vs Predator will become available in North America on February 16, 2010 and in Europe on February 19, 2010. It will come out on the PC, Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation 3, and from what Rebellion promises, and what we were able to tell so far, the game will be a genuine AvP experience, true to the original one.
