Lindsay Lohan's younger sister, Aliana, is at the center of controversy once more. New photos of the model looking very thin and gaunt have sparked a lot of debate on whether she's suffering from an eating disorder.

Lindsay and Ali have recently returned from a holiday in Hawaii, where, as expected, they were papped at the beach and hanging out.

One thing in particular that has drawn the attention of celebrity bloggers and glossies is Ali's incredibly frail frame, which, experts tell Radar Online, can't be explained but by the fact that she's starving herself.

Since she appears to have lost even more weight than last time she stepped out in public, it's easy to conclude that she's doing it on purpose, they say.

“She looks like a death camp survivor. It appears as if she is wasting away as her body chews up muscle looking for fuel,” nutritionist Majid Ali, who has never met or treated Ali, says for the e-zine.

Majid believes the model must weigh about 90 pounds (40.8kg), which means she's underweight considering that she's also very tall.

“It seems more like a starvation diet than binging and purging,” the nutritionist explains.

Other tell-tale signs that Ali is not taking proper care of herself would be her ashy complexion, sunken cheeks and gaunt face, Majid further says.

“Malnutrition will prematurely age her. It tears down tissue collagen and leads to wrinkles, poor skin, limp hair and bad nail quality,” he adds.

As it happens, he's not the only one to voice concern online about Aliana's health. British tab the Daily Mail, for instance, also says that she's unnaturally thin, venturing a guess that she might be taking her model diet a bit too far.

Though the entire Lohan family is usually very vocal when it comes to criticism to one of their own, so far, they haven't said anything on claims that Ali may be struggling with an eating disorder.
