14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan's younger sister, Ali Lohan (known as Aliana now), recently sat down for an interview with Page Six, to talk about her aspirations in modeling, the media frenzy that always surrounds her family and, last but not least, rumors that she had extensive plastic surgery to get work as a model.
For months now, word online has it that Aliana went under the knife to get that “model look,” even though, at her age, she'd need her mother's consent for that.
Reports claim she got fillers in her face and lips, which made the entire structure of her face look strikingly different from how it was before.
Aliana says in the interview that the explanation for whatever difference one might notice about her is down to a growth spurt and definitely not plastic surgery.
“I was cracking up,” she says of her reaction when she learned what people were saying about her.
“Because, like, when would I do that (surgery)? I’m 17 years old. That’s not legal! I would need my mother’s signature, and do you think my mom would sign off on that? No!” Aliana fights back.
“It's not the right thing to do... It’s stupid. I don’t listen to it. Its absolutely not true,” she adds.
Aliana is now signed with NEXT Models and she's already getting plenty of offers. Having set the record straight on speculation about the so-called surgical makeover, she moves on to tackle other rumors.
For instance, she says, she's not a naughty girl. Having her sister's examples of the pitfalls of fame, Aliana knows which are the traps she must avoid in order to be able to focus solely on her career.
“I just say no [to drugs]. I’m lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from…I’ve seen people do it to her and I’ve learned to be like, ‘That’s stupid, no’,” she says.
“That’s why Lindsay and me are so close, because we’re able to talk about those things together,” Aliana adds.
She also praises Lindsay for being incredibly “strong” after all she's been through and especially considering that she has only a few people whom she can truly trust.
