Taiwan-based PC supplier Acer has definitely not been idle over the past weeks, but it doesn't look as though it has any plans of relaxing either. Even last week, the company brought out desktops, netbooks and notebooks. Now, the outfit has no qualms about going along with its plans of further expanding its mobile PC portfolio. In fact, not one or two, but four Acer Timeline Series computers have made their official debut, all of which are already available for order.

First off comes the TimelineX 1830T. This laptop has a LED-backlit screen with a size of 11.6 inches. Its configuration is centered around and Intel Core i3 or Core i5 central processing unit, which is backed up by 3GB of DDR3 and a 320GB hard disk drive. The stakes rise with the Aspire 3820T, a 13.3-inch CineCrystal display-equipped machine with 4GB of DDR3 and up to 500GB of storage.

The Aspire 5820T and the Aspire 4820T are the main stars of the release, however, as they come with the most elaborate feature sets. In addition to the same Core i3 or Core i5 options, they boast up to 500GB of hard drive storage, 4GB of RAM and an integrated ODD (optical disk drive).

The Aspire 4820T even offers the advanced capabilities of the ATI mobility Radeon HD 5650 discrete graphics card.

“The Aspire TimelineX notebooks are ideal for consumers, students and professionals on the move, who require extreme PC portability without being tethered to a power source or compromising computing performance. The Aspire TimelineX notebooks are designed to deliver eight hours of battery life, achieved by combining Intel’s latest Core™ processing technology, advanced power management and LED backlit displays, which results in a thin, light, more energy-efficient and longer lasting mobile PC,” states the official announcement.

The new TimelineX models are already on sale, at prices of as low as $599.99.
