Expected to be released sometime next month, or at the CeBit show in Hannover, Germany, Acer's 10-inch Aspire One netbook has once again been leaked on the Internet, this time with some higher-quality pictures. In addition, we now have specifications regarding the netbook's physical dimensions, including the models with either a 3-cell or a 6-cell battery option.

Pictures and details come from macles*, the same fan blog site that unveiled the very first specifications of the new Acer netbook. According to the provided specs, Acer's 10.1-inch Aspire One netbook is going to offer 3-cell and 6-cell battery options, each one with improved battery life over the company's first Aspire One model. The 3-cell version should provide 3 hours of battery life, while the 6-cell one is good for up to 7 hours, each one delivering a 30-minute improvement over the previous-generation Aspire One.

As expected, the new netbook will weigh slightly more, as the 3-cell battery-equipped model is rated at 1.18kg, while the 6-cell model should weigh 1.33kg. Aside from that, the specifications on the new Aspire One netbook are pretty much the same as late last week. The netbook should come with support for a maximum memory capacity of 2GB and offer a choice of either SSD or HDD storage solutions.

The 10-inch display on Acer's upcoming netbook is capable of rendering a maximum resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels. The system will also provide Bluetooth 2.0 and 3G connectivity and is expected to become available in four color options, namely black, red, blue and white.

Acer will price the new netbook at US$399, according to early details provided by Digitimes, which also reports that the system will be manufactured by Compal Electronics.
