AU Optronics seems to have been all over the news here at Softpedia in the last few days and today is no different since the company has just announced a slew of 3D enabled products, from 4 inch 3D interactive touch panels to the world's largest 71" CSHD 3D TV panel.

Designed with a 240Hz double frame rate, LED scanning backlighting and a ultra-narrow border, this 21:9 3D panel will surely manage to capture your attention even if you are not a big 3D fan, AUO stating this will let you “enter a lifelike stereoscopic world filled with images of extraordinary clarity and brightness.”

But if the whole glasses business is not really your thing, AUO has just the right thing for you, their 65 inch QFHD 4K2K lenticular lens panels offering 3D images without requiring any sort of glasses, the display also coming with an impressive 500 nits of brightness, making this well suitable for commercial use.

Impressive as it may sound, this isn't all that AUO has in store for us, the company also announcing they have combined a 65 inch Full HD 3D display with an advanced 3D interactive solution that uses a infrared video camera in order to detect movement, letting you interact with on-screen objects.

Well suited for interactive content, this will most certainly make quite an impression on gamers and audio-video freaks (along with that glass free 3D panel).

And finally we get to those 4 inch 3D interactive touch panels that I mentioned a bit earlier, AUO stating these will come with an integrated light pen and touch panel, “so that users can move within three dimensions — horizontally, vertically and in depth.”

Users can also switch between 2D and 3D modes, these panels being especially made for smartphones, video game consoles and tablet PC use, according to AUO (although they are quite small for tablet use).

To finish things off, I will tell you that AU Optronics plans to showcase all these panels at the FPD International 2010 in Japan from November 10 to 12, so if you are a 3D geek this is one exhibition you can't miss.
