14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier today, I documented a new type of world record – Big Freedia's Guinness award for most people twerking simultaneously.
It appears that a 73-year-old woman has been part of the ceremony, twerking with the teens at the event.
Huffington Post reporters caught up to New York City grandmother Joan Wind. She was just shopping at Macy's when she saw the crowd and she decided to be a part of the 358-people twerking session.
"Two or three years ago I saw it but I didn't think I could do it. [...] Then I tried it at home in the mirror in the bedroom. And I said, 'Oh, it's shaking very good,'" Wind describes.
She says that she loves to dance and she has always been a fan of the hustle. Now she plans to teach a twerking class to other seniors.
