Big Freedia has set a world record for twerking. The “Queen of Bounce” has been joined by 358 dancers for the largest simultaneous twerk in history.

The successful record attempt is a promotional stunt meant to market the upcoming Fuse show, “Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce.”

Freedia has been twerking long before Miley Cyrus and, although she only needed 250 people to set a world record, more than 350 showed up.

According to Fuse TV, the dance rules were quite strict – no twerking from the knees, no freestyling or changing in position, hands on hips or knees allowed.

Everyone failing to keep up the dance for two minutes straight would be disqualified and taken out of the final count.

When Big Freedia gave the signal, dancers started busting their best moves in New York's Herald Square.
