50 Cent has evolved from the status of underground rapper to one fully fledged business man, managing to get his own brand or that of his entourage, G-Unit, into almost everything we see around today. Of course, video games couldn't escape from the ambitions of the artist, as he already has two titles under his belt, 50 Cent: Bulletproof and the more recent Blood on the Sand.

Speaking with MTV about video games in general, the reputed rapper has expressed his opinion that a sequel to Blood on the Sand deserved to be made, in order to satisfy the fans who have seemingly enjoyed playing as the famous singer in a middle-eastern setting.

“I'm hoping we'll be able to do it,” 50 Cent says. “With the success of this actual project, we'll try to do it again. Fans said it's a good video game. They enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to play with some people online. That was exciting and another way to reach people that are aware of me."

The artist, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has also talked about video games in general, saying that he would love to take part in creating a game in which his likeness shouldn't be used. “I'd like to be a part of designing and marketing a video game I'm not actually in. I talked to THQ.”

So after singing, creating apparel lines and other such things, gaming will be the next big domain in which the celebrity's reach will extend. What do you think? With the recent evidence that famous people do more good to the whole industry than regular ones, is 50 Cent's current and future contribution something good for gaming in general?
