Polarbit, a pioneering developer of games for mobile and handheld platforms, announced recently the launch of their titles for Android mobile phone users. According to the company, the games are already available via the Android Market, and the list of titles includes not only a series of already popular solutions like Raging Thunder, an award-winning street racer, but also titles like powerboat racer WaveBlazer, FPS ToonWarz, the arcade shoot’em-up Armageddon Squadron, and strategy title Iron Sight.

The most interesting and appealing features of the games includes the fact that they come with full 3D support, as well as with multi-player capabilities. The aforementioned games are only the first ones from the company to reach the Android Market, yet one should expect for their entire line of titles to arrive at the software portal. Not to mention that users will also be able to enjoy support for cross-platform multi-player capabilities with the games, meaning that they can challenge other players that are not using Android-based mobile phones.

“Polarbit titles are known for their visual excellence as well as their accessible gameplay and controls, ensuring that they appeal to casual as well as hard-core gamers. The truly distinguishing feature that sets Polarbit titles apart from competitors is their cross-platform multiplayer capabilities. For the first time ever, iPhone, Android and Nokia Ovi Store device users from all corners of the globe will be able to face off in intense deathmatches, gut-churning races, brutal dogfights and epic battles,” the company notes in a press-release sent to Android and Me.

It seems that the company is also hard at work with providing support for the Motorola DROID with their games, and Raging Thunder is one of the first titles that can now be played on this handset's large touchscreen display. A quick look at the videos below will show you how the games play along with the Android operating system, but additional videos are available on the company's YouTube channel.
