The X-series from 3 marks the dawn of a new way of communicating.

The Partnership with Skype, Sling Media, Yahoo!, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Google, Ebay, Microsoft and Orb, means that customers will be able to make unlimited calls through the Skype service, to send instant messages to their friends for free through Yahoo Messenger, access their home PC remotely through Orb, and more.

Customers will only be charged flat access fees for mobile broadband services, on top of the subscription. After that access fee is paid, customers will be able to talk through Skype or Yahoo Messenger or surf the Internet as much as they want, without any additional cost. With this service it is now also possible to watch anything you could watch on your TV, on your mobile phone, or shop online, through Ebay. X-series from 3 will be available in the UK starting December the 1st and in other countries at the beginning of 2007.

It seems that - for now - only Nokia N73 and Sony Ericsson W950i are available for X-Series.
