Highly anticipated Zune player from Microsoft, considered to be the biggest threat to Apple's iPod, will be publicly presented next week, during an invitation-only private show. This is the first public appearance of the player. Up until now, details about the new player have been held secret by Microsoft but this week revealed some interesting facts about Zune.

According to XtremPC, Microsoft's fashion portable player has a 3-inch TFT display, a 30 GB microdrive, FM tuner, wireless 802.11 b/g interface and USB2 support for computer connection. The wireless specs indicate the fact that the player will be able to interconnect with four other compatible devices in order to facilitate file transfers. It will come in black, brown and white colors and a special series of 13 accessories will be released by Microsoft immediately after Zune's release. Other leaked info present the future network platform named Pyxis, which will facilitate the exchange of files, pics and music playlists, while the Argo technology will practically be similar to instant messaging.
