14 DAY TRIAL // The first time I wrote about “2 Guns,” the new movie from Baltasar Kormakur (“Contraband”), I said that, worst case scenario, it would turn out to be nothing more than a light buddy cop comedy. The new trailer hints it’s more serious than that.

In the film, Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington play two undercover secret agents working for different agencies in a bid to bring down the bad guys.
However, their cover is blown when a bank robbery goes bad and they’re forced to work together to find a way out of their predicament and, of course, complete the mission.
As the new trailer shows, the film will also have its funny moments and awesome one-liners, but also plenty (plenty!) of action scenes.
If you like what you see, make sure you see it in theaters this weekend: it’ll be out in the US on August 2.
