We already know that Verizon Wireless plans to launch a 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus, though the carrier has yet to confirm it. However, just like the Motorola DROID 4, it appears that Verizon is still postponing the official announcement.

The reasons behind the carrier’s decision are unknown for the moment, but rumors on the smartphone’s release point to a possible April 5 launch.

The folks over at Droid-Life have just learned that Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16GB will be released in the first week of April for a price that will be disclosed closer to launch.

However, according to a Verizon internal document, the launch date is subject to a change, so the carrier might delay the 16GB Galaxy Nexus once again.

In the same news, the carrier also plans to release the HTC DROID Incredible 3 4G on April 26. Still, this release date is subject to change as well, so we cannot tell whether the phone will be available in the last week of April.

No other details are available for the moment, but rumor has it that Verizon might launch the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus for only $199 (150 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

The leaked document also mentions that a certain LG Lucid (previously known as Cayman) will be released at the end of this month on the 29th. Apparently, this is a 4G smartphone, but no other info is available for the moment.

There’s also a Novatel 4620 Jetpack which should hit shelves at Verizon Wireless on April 5, the same day as the 16GB Galaxy Nexus, as well as a ZTE EuFI 890 Jetpack Mobile Hotspot that should be launched at the end of March or in early April.

All launch dates are subject to change, so stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
