There's no sign of a dual edge curved display, though

We reported earlier today about ZUK's upcoming flagship smartphone suggestively named Edge. The smartphone should be unveiled sometime in December, according to a Lenovo exec who was kind enough to tease the future release of the ZUK Edge.

Unfortunately, despite the fact that the phone is named ZUK Edge, it will probably not come with a dual edge curved display like the Galaxy S7 edge or other high-end smartphones launched this year.

Several pictures of the ZUK Edge have just been leaked on Weibo and, as mentioned earlier, there's no sign of the dual edge curved display that many fans were excited about.

Other than that, it's worth noting the ZUK Edge comes with a Home physical button on the front side, which most likely houses the fingerprint sensor since there isn't one on the back.

Speaking of which, the back side of the phone features a 13-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and laser focus, while in the front there's a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The bottom side of the phone features the USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack, while on top there's one of the mics and nothing else.

As seen in the pictures, ZUK Edge comes with very thin bezels, so even if it features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, it might look smaller than a standard phone with the same screen size.

According to a recent listing at TENAA, the ZUK Edge will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 6GB of RAM.

Also, the smartphone packs 64GB of internal memory, but there's no mention if microSD card slot. Still, considering the ZUK Edge will be launched in China, we expect it to feature dual-SIM support, so one of the slots on the SIM tray could be used for an SD memory card rather than a second SIM card.

Another interesting piece of information that we've already know of is the fact that ZUK Edge will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

Last but not least, the flagship smartphone will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which is likely to feature Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
