Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be released on August 2, and information on the smartphone continues to surface online. After specs were leaked over the weekend, it seems that new specifics have popped up from China, confirming what we already knew and adding some more details.

An image listing the specs of Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 has been spotted by SammyWorld, confirming some specs that were leaked a few days ago. The leak has surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo, and it reveals that the Note 7 will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 12MP rear camera, and a 5MP camera on the front.

It will also come with IP 68 water resistance and 6GB of RAM, coupled with at least 64GB of storage. Then, the new leak provides some information on the Note 7's battery, which will have a 4,000mAh capacity, and it also reveals that the handset will come with a redesigned S Pen. In addition, the device will have a Snapdragon 821 chip or Exynos 8893 in certain European and/or Asian regions. The Exynos 8893 processor will be clocked at between 2.6 and 2.7GHz.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 could come in two screen variants

The iris scanner has long been rumored to come on the Galaxy Note 7, and the device is said to be available in multiple colors, including black, silver, and even Blue Coral. The Note 7 will sell in both a flat screen and a curved-edge screen variant, similar to the display on Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge. But this remains to be seen, since it has long been believed that Samsung will only release an edge version of the Note 7.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is also likely to come with USB-C port, and it could run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and an updated version of TouchWiz.

Samsung is expected to hold an event on August 2 in New York, in order to unveil the new Galaxy Note 7, and it is only then that all this information will either be confirmed or denied.
