Google and HTC are expected to unveil two new Nexus smartphones this year, namely Nexus Sailfish and Nexus Marlin. The two devices have leaked in multiple images, and even their specs are relatively known. The latest leak regards notification sounds and ringtones from the two handsets.

Notification sounds and ringtones from Nexus Marlin and Sailfish have leaked over at Android Police, where they're available for download. Eight notification sounds and ten ringtones are free for the grabbing.

Earlier this month, wallpapers from the two devices leaked online, showing images that could be found on the phones upon release. Google is believed to unveil the two Nexus smartphones around the same time Android 7.0 Nougat is released, sometime this month or in September.

Nexus Marlin is said to have a larger display compared to Sailfish

Nexus smartphones have been spotted in benchmark tests, with Nexus Sailfish rumored to come with a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution screen and a USB Type-C port. It's also said to come with a 2,770mAh battery and have a metal and plastic build. Other than that, the device could pack Snapdragon 820 with 4GB of RAM and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, just like Nexus Marlin.

Nexus Sailfish could also provide 32GB of internal storage and have a 12MP rear camera with 4k video recording, as well as an 8MP selfie unit on the front with QHD capabilities.

Nexus Marlin will be larger, with a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) AMOLED display, and sport the same quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor as well as a USB Type-C port. Rear camera capacity will probably reach 12MP, with an 8MP unit on the front. The smartphone could draw power from a 3,450mAh battery and come with 4GB of RAM, together with 32GB or 128GB of internal storage. The device will also come with Bluetooth 4.2.
