Tomorrow, wireless carrier T-Mobile and mobile phone maker HTC Corporation are expected to make official a new handset running under Google's Android operating system, the myTouch 4G Slide.

We already had the chance to learn a few details on this device, which made it into the wild as the Doubleshot, but which was later said to arrive as the myTouch 4G Slide.

However, there still are a wide range of details on the new mobile phone that have to be announced, including info on what it would actually look like, though this might have been covered in a way.

A series of photos with cases for the mobile phone have just been spotted into the wild, which enable us to make an idea of what T-Mobile and HTC might have in store for us.

All that was unveiled in these photos, including the sliding design of the device, and its QWERTY keyboard.

The handset should arrive on shelves as the successor of last year's T-Mobile myTouch 4G, and comes with a a wide range of enhancements included into the mix.

The new device would pack a dual-core application processor inside, along with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution.

The mobile phone's specs list is reportedly featuring 768MB of RAM, along with support for the wireless carrier's category 10 HSPA+ cellular broadband.

On the back, the phone would sport an eight-megapixel photo snapper, with dual LED flash and with support for HD video recording (hopefully, full HD).

The myTouch 4G Slide already received the necessary approvals from the FCC, and is reportedly powered by Google's Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system, with the Sense UI on top.

As stated above, the new smartphone is expected to become official as soon as tomorrow, at least this is what recent reports on the matter suggest. Until that happens, have a look at the photo above (available courtesy of Pocketnow) to make an idea of the handset's looks.
