It also comes with Moto Mods, which are great

Can you believe that Motorola launched a flagship smartphone that's only 5.2mm thin? Thanks to its long experience in the smartphone industry, the US-based company managed to achieve that level of design. The Moto Z is not just thin, but unbendable too.

After selling about 1 million units worldwide, there haven't been any reports complaining of the fact that the phone is too thin and breaks easily.

But the Moto Z is not just super thin, it's also very light at 136g weight. Yes, it comes with a much smaller 2,600 mAh battery inside, but you can add an additional battery for more autonomy.

The Moto Z has been designed to be very thin, so when you add a Moto Mod, the smartphone won't become too thick.

The overall design is absolutely stunning at first glance, but the glass on the back is definitely a fingerprint magnet. Not to mention that it's slippery due to the glass coating on the back side.

But everything changes as soon as you add a Moto Mod, a modular component that can prolong the phone's battery life or can improve the camera. You can even attach a JBL module for better sound or a … micro-projector.

On top of that, Motorola released some back covers that can be easily attached to the back, so that it doesn't catch any fingerprints. You can choose from multiple covers with different patterns and textures.

The Moto Z is quite the looker and even if it's so thin, it feels solid in hand. Moreover, Motorola and Lenovo promised to launch at least 12 new Moto Mods each year, so there will be plenty to choose from in the coming months.

Another advantage of the phone would be the fact that, while it does ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board, Motorola has already started the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat for the Moto Z.

The Moto Z is definitely a technological wonder when it comes to design. Hopefully, the rest of the phone's specs will be on par performance-wise.
