The size difference is minimal and that's awesome

We're less than a week away from the official reveal of the LG G6, which means it's the perfect time to talk about the upcoming flagship and get some insight on what's to come.

LG is one of the few companies that will launch new smartphones at Mobile World Congress, which teased real information about one of its products, in this case, the G6.

We've already reported about the phone's 13-megapixel dual-camera setup, which was recently advertised by LG, but we also got to talk about the G6's water resistant design that was teased only a couple of days ago.

A more recent study published by LG highlights the fact that the G6 is a “superhero smartphone” in a rather small body. That's quite interesting, but where's the actual proof of that?

Luckily, someone leaked a new picture of the LG G6 and LG G5 side by side, so we can finally compare the two high-end smartphones and get an idea of what changes the South Korean company plans for this year's flagship.

A little bit of design work can do wonders

The image above shows the LG G6 (on the right) is only a tad smaller than the LG G5 (on the left), even though it comes with a much larger display.

As some of you probably know by now, LG G6 is supposed to boast a huge 5.7-inch Quad HD+ display, while the LG G5 sports a 5.3-inch display. Due to the thin bezels, the LG G6 isn't that much bigger than the last year flagship.

According to the South Korean handset maker, the LG G6 will be officially introduced on February 26 during a press conference set to take place in Barcelona, Spain.

The smartphone will be released on the market a few weeks later, but LG G6 pre-orders could start as early as the first week of March.
