The line-up consists of 4 models from Sharp, Samsung, Toshiba and NEC

Vodafone Japan announced the launch of 4 new models for the spring 2006 season. Each phone has a different manufacturer, Sharp, Toshiba, Samsung and NEC.

The most interesting of them is the Samsung's 804SS, which has a RAZR design and excellent technical specifications. It includes dual cameras, a 2.3" QVGA screen, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint compatibility, and 140MB of internal memory.

Sharp V403SH has a compact, square-shaped design. The handset is 2G compatible and it features a 2.2MP Mobile ASV LCD and camera.

Toshiba 904T has a pivoting screen and can be used with or without the keyboard. The phone is W-CDMA (UMTS) and GSM compatible and it features a 2.4" QVGA screen, a 3.1MP camera and a MiniSD slot. In addition, the phone is compatible with Vodafone Live!, FeliCa (electronic wallet), GPS system and V-CAST music service.

The last of the line-up, NEC's 804N, is also WCDMA/GSM compatible and has 450MB of internal memory, it supports MicroSD cards (up to 512MB). The phone features a 2.2" QVGA screen, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth technology, and it's Vodafone Live! BB and V-CAST music compatible.

The 3G phones will be available starting mid-March, while the Sharp V403SH will be available from late February.
